This picture is from last week; when we tried our snowmachine for the first time. He did a great job! Now we can remove the snow from our parkingplace by ourselves. And we have some more news...in november we gave our staircase a metamorfose. We`ve made a paneling from tiles and we`ve painted the walls above the tiles. Also the ceiling ist sparkling white again after a long time ! We had this wish for a long time. In the photo-album, in `web-album`, you`ll find a map with title `Trappenhuis`, then you`ll have an idea how the staircase looks now and what we all did.

The snow hasn`t gone yet! For 2 days there was a new layer of 40 cm of snow just in 1 night! Still a lot of fun here with skiing. In the meantime, we are busy with making plans about our new renovation. This sommer our roof comes completely off and we are making a dormer, so the bathrooms on the second floor can be modernized and bigger. To be continued..... Just in time....we wish you all a happy, healthy 2010! We were very busy; so busy that we didn`t had the time to write some news...Das orange Schaf has had a very good start. In december and january we had a lot of guests. We are also now at www.zoover.co.uk and www.zoover.nl where you can find the comments of our first guests.

Today the metal contructor came to mesure and to tell us that the first fire escape stairs will be there in 2,5 weeks time. This building needs a lot of improvement in case there is a fire. For example, we have to have 2 fire escape stairs, a small one at the front and a large one at the back of this building. We have had a lot of conversations with our architect who is helping us with all this. In the meantime, some more rooms are finished, so that the half of the first floor is done. Again we've had a lot of help from family and friends, thanks a lot!

Time flies when you`re having fun! We are still working by plan and in time, we think...What have we done? First our own privatpart, where we live now, then the big kitchen en now we are very busy with the first room in the pension. When it`s ready you will see the photo`s on this website! Then you have an idea of the sleepingrooms in `das orange Schaf`. We`ve had a lot of help from family and friends which we are grateful for.

We are so busy at the moment that we don`t take time to update this page on our website. After our arrival, we directly started with DIY-work almost without taking a break. Quite a lot of friends and familymembers came to the orange sheep to help us. They all were enthusiastic when they saw this place. We already put the orange sheep above the frontdoor where she`s looking out for the first guests...! But that will take a while.

At the moment we`re busy preparing ourselves for our emigration to Germany. And that`s quit a lot!
